What Is Amazon A+ Content? A Powerful Tool to Elevate Your Book PageWhile exploring my Amazon KDP dashboard recently, I came across a feature that can make a huge difference for self-published authors: A+ Content. If you're looking for a way to make your book detail page more engaging, informative, and visually appealing, this is a tool worth using. What Is A+ Content? A+ Content allows you to add enhanced visuals—such as images, text blocks, comparison charts, and custom modules—to your book’s product detail page on Amazon. It gives potential readers a deeper look into your book, helping them connect emotionally before they click "Buy." With A+ Content, you can:

Final Thoughts
A+ Content isn’t just about adding pretty images. It’s about telling your story beyond the pages, building trust, and creating a richer experience for your readers. If you’re a self-published author, this is a simple but powerful way to make your book stand out, especially in competitive categories like children’s books or nonfiction. And the best part? It’s completely free to use. So if you haven’t explored A+ Content yet—this might be the perfect time to start. How to Create a Series on Amazon KDPHave you ever wanted to publish on KDP and compose a series instead of a single volume? Amazon KDP offers a feature that allows authors to create and link series themselves. In this article, I will share actual screen captures I have personally worked on and briefly explain the process. After registering your book, click “Edit ebook details” After registering your book to KDP, you will see the “Edit ebook details” button as shown below. Go to series setup to find the below screen. Ordered series? Unordered series? In this step, you can decide how you want to display the order of the books. Ordered: When order is important (e.g., Book 1, Book 2, Book 3…) Unordered: A series that can be read freely without any order Ater then, you can find your added series's name like below. Final Tips
The series name is the brand. Be sure to keep the series consistent with a unified name. Adding the series name in small letters to the book cover or title will make it look consistent. The Unordered series is also good for classification/promotion. Even if the content is completely different, you can connect them with “same worldview” and “same production method.” A+ content that makes picture book pages shine (Complete guide to using KDP)What is A+ Content? Additional content space where you can introduce your book more attractively by adding images, descriptions, comparison charts, etc. to your Amazon product page. Adding book introduction images (e.g. interior illustrations, scene previews) Author introductions, series comparisons, etc. A powerful marketing tool that can increase your purchase conversion rate (CTR)! A+ Content Registration Process (KDP Standard) 1️⃣ After logging in to KDP, click the "Marketing" tab → A+ Content Manager You can go to the A+ Content Manager menu by clicking Marketing in the menu at the top of the screen. 2️⃣ Click the 'Start Creating A+ content' button on the top right The process for creating a new A+ content begins. 3️⃣ Select the content name and language For example, I entered Strawberry Contest to match the book title. Select the Language as US English. This step is for internal use to identify the content, so it is not displayed externally. 📍 At this time, there are 5 steps in the registration process that are visible at the top of the screen: Create Content → Apply ASINs → Submit → Approval → Published Design content in the Editor This is the core space where you combine images and text to compose content. You can choose basic templates (image + text, 3-column image, comparison table, etc.). It is good to add illustrations inside the book, concept descriptions, series information, etc. 🖼 Tip: Image sizes should be uploaded according to the pixels required by KDP. Be more visual and concise rather than too text-centric! 5️⃣ Register ASIN (Click Next: Apply ASINs) This is the step where you specify which book (ASIN) the content will be applied to. Click Next: Apply ASINs and enter the ASIN code of the book. 6️⃣ Submit and wait for review Once you have completed the content, you must submit it and wait for Amazon's review. It is usually approved within 24 to 72 hours. Once approved, the content will be displayed at the bottom of the book details page. A+ Things to keep in mind when registering content Item description Image size Set to pixels that match the KDP guide (usually 970x600, etc.) Reasons for delayed approval Text duplication, external links, and review-inducing phrases may be rejected Reflection time Reflected on Amazon product page within 24 hours of approval Content applicable books Both eBook and paperback are available 1. Upload image Click on the Click to add image box and a pop-up window will appear in the center. In the pop-up window, drag the image directly to the “Drag image here or click to select” section or upload it by selecting it from your computer. The minimum size is 220px × 220px. (Square recommended / errors may occur if the pixels are too small) 2. Write image keywords Enter **alt text** for the image for visually impaired users and screen readers. Describe the image content briefly and accurately. Example: "Smiling strawberry characters at a contest stage" This does not affect search, but it positively affects accessibility and content quality ratings. 3. Description of text input fields Below are fields for entering text corresponding to each image: Item description Headline Title for the image (e.g. "Meet the Berry Queen!") Body Text Detailed description, introduction. Keep it short and concise (e.g. "This sweet strawberry was chosen by the woodland animals...") Tip: Body text is limited to 500 characters HTML tags cannot be used (use the editor tool for bold, italics, etc.) Registering A+ Content: Step 2 - Apply ASINs What is an ASIN? ASIN (Amazon Standard Identification Number) is a unique ID that identifies a book or product on Amazon. → To apply A+ content, you need to select the ASIN of this book and connect it. Search for a book Enter the book title or ASIN in the Search for ASINs field at the top. A list of products that can be connected will automatically appear below. Check the books to apply Click the checkbox to the left of the desired book (here, “Strawberry Contest: Who Will Be the Berry Queen?”). ✅ If checked, the content will be connected to this book. The “Parent ASIN” is the representative (integrated) ASIN of the paperback and Kindle versions. Click ‘Apply content’ at the top right Click to apply this A+ content to the book. It will be added to the “Applied ASINs” list below and you are ready to submit. A+ content can be applied to more than one ASIN at the same time. For example, if you want to use the same content in both the English and Korean versions, you can check both and connect them. One content can be applied to up to 10 ASINs. What's next? →Click "Next: Review and Submit" on the top right to review all content and submit it to Amazon. (Approval will be determined within 24-72 hours.) How to fix the error after receiving the review message from Amazon.Today, I will share the troubleshooting process for error messages when publishing a book through KDP publishing service. After you finish publishing with KDP, first submit the e-book, then create and submit the paperback, you can receive the message below within 2-3 days. In this case, you will enter your editing account for KDP and enter setup mode for the book. And to edit the content, first check what the problem is using the previewer. When you see your book through Launch Preview, It must be no error message in the left side with hot pink mark above. Also, be aware that the red line below is the part where it is cut out, so no important images or text should be placed outside this red line. I received an email from Amazon telling me to check page 26 of my book, revise it, and publish it. For exact checking your fixed area, you can dowload your PDF proof, where it has on the right side of your previewer. Here is a PDF proof window. Of course, an error message may appear because the picture at the bottom is cut off, but in some cases, the problem is the empty space directly above. You might think that the picture below is cut off because of the empty space. It has been modified as follows.
