About Korean traditional game, Yut game. Yut-nori is a most popular traditional board games in Korea. It is basically a game that has four Yut sticks. The stick shows the number whether the sticks land on their fronts or back is called Do, Gae, Geol, Yut or Mo. On the special designed map, you can move your blue or red colored coins after checking which side of Yut is flapped. The Yut Play is consist of team play, and then you can divide a red or a blue team. Each team has four coins ( 4 red coins/ 4 blue coins) Throw the sticks upward (from sitting position) as high as your shoulder, and let them fall down on the ground Below is about 5 possible results 1 flap side up and one piece move a space is called Do. 2 flap side up and one piece move two space is called Gae. 3 flap side up and 1 piece moves tree spaces is called Geol. 4 flap side up and 1 piece moves four spaces is called Yut. Finally, 5 flap side down and 1 piece moves five spaces is called Mo If Yut or Mo is rolled, that player may throw one more time. The map below is a board designed for Yut Game. I also put it on the Pixabay site (free image download site)so that everyone can share it. As above the map, you can choose 1 way or 2 way to move your coins on the point of red, blue, purple and yellow. If your coin take a place and other team's coin has already been on the same place, you can make other team’s coin go start line. If your coin take a place and also your team are on the same place, you can add more coins and, move together. But if the coin is catched, the coin has to go start line. Additionally, it has 4 ways to go around the map - To take shortcuts, your coin must land on one of the colorful circles. Otherwise, your coin should continue around the outside perimeter of the map. (it will be a long trip) - Each throw applies to only one coin, of the player’s choice. - If one of your coins ends up on a circle which already has one of your coin, you can stack them together and move them as one - if one of your coins ends up on the same circle as another player’s coin, the other player’s coin moves back to the starting circle and you may play again If you and your team don't have sticks or horses that you and your team can throw at, you can use the app below. Install and try ! ( If you click below image, and can go the site for installation) If you don't have coins or checkers, any color or shape that can be distinguished is fine The following shows how to make and provide a T-shirt with a map of Wengnori that you made yourself. If you have it in the form of a t-shirt, wouldn't it be possible to play yut even without a yut-nori plate?
