News RSS Feed in Weebly

  Today, I had a good time eating and talking at home with my friends and family I hadn't seen in almost a year due to the corona crisis. They say those close friends are like a relationship that feels like they met yesterday and broke up when they meet again after not seeing each other for a long time. They came with this feeling and then returned to New Jersey. We did not talk about the problematic coronavirus last year, but about real problems, especially the experiences needed when entering college or choosing a college major because the first child is the same age. The consensus is that it is good to have a lot of experience before choosing a university or major. We talked about the importance of trying and experiencing this and that, not a set life. I can see the importance of simply applying it to my website management. Rather than using an established platform or layout, it is better to try and experience it within it. Today, I'm going to try to dynamically change the boring-looking right sidebar of a blog using the news feed app provided by Weebly for free. New attempts are always beneficial. The finished screen will create a small banner showing the blog title as moving text passing by in the right sidebar, as shown below.

  I would be very happy if someone clicks on something more when they come to my blog. 
First, open the Weebly editor, take out the  RSS element from the left menu bar, and insert it in an appropriate position on the right side bar.

 And then you can click the right button on your mouse, and go to the Copy Link Address. It means that you copy the feed's address on your site. 

  ​If you look at the bottom of the left side element menu bar of the Weebly editor, you can find a button to add various apps that make the site even more powerful.

If you click the plus icon and then you can find the app center like below. 

 Enter "feed"  in the search window and click the Find button. After searching, you can find the results like below. And then please select the News RSS Feed.

- Engage your visitors with fresh real-time content.
AboutThis app is perfect for sharing updates with your readers quickly. It makes it easy to share news that are distributed in RSS format. You can display your latest blog posts or articles from other sources.

After add the app (I selected the basic service, and it's free), you can check your left element's bar. You can see the New app called News RSS Feed like below, and then drag and drop it the place where you want to put on it. 

 And then click to the edit button on the News RSS Feed window.

 If you want to explore the app completely, you can click the Tutorial. If you can click the Edit button, and then find the below screen. Choose a theme that fits your style. 

  Then, if you go to the content tab, a window appears where you can write the feed address as follows. Copy the RSS feed address you copied earlier here. 

​At this time, you need to replace the first part of the copied address with your web page address as follows.

  ​You can change the font size, color background, etc. of the feed. If you want to change it, go to the Design tab

 Please check the result like below. 

 As long as you know your RS link address, you can apply this to other pages and insert them. The larger the space, the better the visibility.
