How to prepare an artwork for Art Exhibition. Congratulations again if you have selected your work for your first exhibition and are preparing to display your work. Below is the process of making the wire and preparing the label behind the brief artwork. First you will need a wire, a hook and a Phillips screwdriver. For sculovers, crosses are good. In my experience, it's best to run the wire about 2 inches from the top of the frame. If the position of the wire is too low when hanging, the picture frame may flip, and if it is too high, the wire is exposed over the frame. It is a little easier to start by pre-piercing the hole with an screwdriver as shown below. Then make a loop and hang the wire. Below is the finished look. Then, on the right side of the piece, you can put a label like the one below. And write a statement about the figure as shown below. This way, visitors can learn more about you and your work.
