Doodle for Google Scholarship - Google presents Doodle for Google Scholarship, an annual art competition open to students in kindergarten through 12th grade.
Application Deadline - Varies, usually February or March

Award Amount - One national winner received a $30,000 college scholarship and a $50,000 technology package award for schools/nonprofits. $5,000 college scholarships awarded to four national finalists

Eligibility Requirements - Applicants must meet the following requirements:

Must be a K-12 student in a U.S. school (including homeschool), a school in Puerto Rico, Guam, the U.S. Virgin Islands, or a child of a military member overseas.

Students can create doodles using any medium or material.

Note: Parents, teachers, non-profit organizations, and after-school programs may submit work on behalf of K-12 students.

To participate in the Doodle for Google scholarship, students must submit their Doodle design along with a written statement that explains their inspiration for the design. Entries are judged on artistic merit, creativity, and how well the design represents the theme of the competition.

1. HOW TO ENTER: NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN.
   
   To enter the Contest, visit the Contest website located at doodle4google.com ("Contest Site") during the Contest Period and follow the instructions that appear on the "How it Works" tab. You will be requested to download and complete a one-page official entry form ("Entry Form") with: (a) a doodle that reflects Entrant's creative interpretation of the Contest theme “I am grateful for...” incorporating the letters from the Google logo ("Doodle"); (b) all information at the bottom of the Entry Form including parents consent; and (c) a descriptive artist statement of fifty (50) words or less. Entry Forms can only be submitted by parents, guardians, teachers, non-profit leaders, and afterschool programs on behalf of Entrants. The doodle and supporting statements must meet the "Doodle Requirements," described below.
   
   
2. Once the Entry Form is fully completed, it should be printed on a light colored 8.5"X11" sheet of paper and signed by a parent/legal guardian. The completed Entry Form can be submitted virtually via a digital upload tool on the doodle4google.com site, or as a hard copy by mail.
   
   
3. To submit an entry via the digital upload tool on the Contest Site, please follow the instructions on the Contest Site under "Enter" tab. Google is not responsible for illegible or incorrectly submitted entries made via the digital upload tool.

4. To submit an entry in hard-copy form, the entry form and Doodle must be mailed in an envelope (packaged carefully so it won't be damaged) with proper postage affixed, to the following mailing address:
