Application Deadline - Varies, usually February or March Award Amount - One national winner received a $30,000 college scholarship and a $50,000 technology package award for schools/nonprofits. $5,000 college scholarships awarded to four national finalists Eligibility Requirements - Applicants must meet the following requirements: Must be a K-12 student in a U.S. school (including homeschool), a school in Puerto Rico, Guam, the U.S. Virgin Islands, or a child of a military member overseas. Students can create doodles using any medium or material. Note: Parents, teachers, non-profit organizations, and after-school programs may submit work on behalf of K-12 students. Keywords: To participate in the Doodle for Google scholarship, students must submit their Doodle design along with a written statement that explains their inspiration for the design. Entries are judged on artistic merit, creativity, and how well the design represents the theme of the competition.
