Book curating for my art class as an artist

From the perspective of an artist in my profession, I curated graphic novels that would be good to apply in art classrooms. Based on the results above, eight books were selected. To make this selection, I first selected a list through a search on ChatGPT and researched the books. Afterwards, I compared the content selected by bloggers on the Internet. Based on these results, I selected eight books. And below is the selection process.

• "Blankets" by Craig Thompson: This coming-of-age graphic novel showcases Thompson's intricate, detailed artwork and is a great choice for studying composition and panel layout.
•  "The Sculptor" by Scott McCloud: This graphic novel explores the life of a struggling artist who makes a deal with death in exchange for extraordinary sculpting abilities. It provides opportunities for discussions on art, creativity, and mortality.
  
• "The Arrival" by Shaun Tan:  This wordless graphic novel is a beautiful  exploration of immigration, displacement, and adapting to a new world, using intricate and imaginative visuals.
  
•  "How to Be an Artist" by Jerry Saltz: While not a traditional graphic novel, this book uses comic-style illustrations to provide insightful advice and guidance for aspiring artists. It's a humorous and educational resource for artists.
  
• "Pablo" by Julie Birmant and Clément Oubrerie: This graphic novel explores the life and art of the famous artist Pablo Picasso. It offers a visual journey through Picasso's creative evolution and the art world of his time.
  
• "Vincent" by Barbara Stok: "Vincent" is a graphic biography of Vincent van Gogh. It provides a unique visual representation of the artist's life, his struggles, and his iconic works.
  
• "Brush with Passion: The Art and Life of Dave Stevens" by Dave Stevens and Mark Schultz: This graphic novel celebrates the life and artwork of the late artist Dave Stevens, known for creating "The Rocketeer." It's a testament to the power of artistic passion and dedication.
  
• "Pollock Confidential" by Onofrio Catacchio: This graphic novel offers a fictionalized take on the life of abstract expressionist painter Jackson Pollock, featuring engaging artwork and a glimpse into the world of the art scene in the mid-20th century.
