The Sand Street Beach Stony Brook, where I live, is in Suffolk County, Long Island, New York. Surrounded by the sea, you can see large and small various style of beaches wherever you go. Sandstreet Beach, especially in Stony Brook, is my favourite. It's called a beach, but it's a very calm and quiet sea with no roaring waves. Most impressive is the small cottage with the red roof on the sandbar. Especially when the tide goes out, it becomes the place for swans and seagulls that have come to play. Above all, when I personally have something to think about or meditate on, when I come here, nature quietly gives me some answers. Today, I drew this beach with watercolor paint. There is not enough time to explain how nature has given me best solutions and enlightenment. Sometimes it's better to express myself with a picture rather than explain it. When I was frustrated while drawing, it was because of my personality that didn't like to show it. I always feel sorry for my work and my clients when it comes to things that have to be decorated well, stand out, take a nice profile picture, and appeal to others. Because it is inherently difficult for me. I enjoy quietly enjoying nature, listening to music and painting. Of course, I also love meeting and getting to know people. Despite my shy personality, I have many friends. But I don't know how to wrap me nicely. I just like to draw and draw. Sometimes I don't know what my quiet daily life will bring to me, but I decided to love the undecorated, raw me more. It's also the answer I get every time I walk on this beach.

I hope that art is like a small flower that overcomes the long harsh winter and breaks through the cold air and ground. I happened to be looking at my front yard and saw the pink hyacinths I planted last year. It seems that the environment is still cold and rough for this little flower to bloom, so I am cautiously worried. But the next day and the next, the little pink flower still stands strong. To me, art is the awe and respect that this little pink color gives. Art is like... I hope that art for me is like the seashells I picked up while walking on a quiet beach. There are no people on the beach that I accidentally stopped by, and only the sound of small waves in the calm air can be heard. Take a walk along the quiet beach and give the seashells exposed as the water drains out. Little by little, while I was picking up the shells, I was walking to the point I thought of. While I was picking up the shells waiting in various shapes in the long journey of my life, I was walking along the long beach without any boredom, without any room to feel loneliness or tiredness. As I paint, I gradually forget the regrets, pains and wounds of the past. And there are a lot of seashell-like paintings piled up in my basket, and they defend my wounds, soothe my pain, and show me the direction I should go. To me, I want art to be like a one-dollar watercolour painting. I had a difficult and poor childhood, and I had to give up painting because I had not enough money and support to go to art school at the time. But I hope that other people, especially young children, do not feel this despair. With just a dollar and a piece of white paper, I hope that it will be a world where anyone can draw, cry, laugh, and accompany each other along with art. I hope that everyone, from children to the elderly, can dream together and eat the fruit of happiness that art provides. I want art to be like graffiti drawn by children on the floor casually but happily. When children need to draw something, I want to do bold and self-centered art like that, choosing a color without any worries, choosing a subject without being conscious of others, and drawing vigorously without expecting any reward. Whenever I am constantly drawing, thinking about painting, and eager to do something, I feel that the burden of a ship with the name of art in my life is thrown into the sea one by one and my ship is getting lighter. Then everything becomes simpler, lighter, less conscious and happier. Perhaps this is how children feel when they draw. I want art to be like the back view of my two guinea pigs. They are eating Timothy Hey hard to survive today and tomorrow without a break, but their back always shows cuteness. And that loveliness and cuteness produce infinite endorphins, which deliver a sense of happiness and the will to live. Painting is also a livelihood for those who paint, and they have to earn money and buy bread and milk. It is the result of fierce survival, but it is always beautiful and mysterious, and it seems that there are no worries in the world. Rather, the stronger these painters struggle for survival, the more people who see the results feel the attachment, preciousness, and happiness of life. It's like art to me, a message that makes people feel good and happy hanging on the wall of a coffee shop I casually stop by. A picture painted to gain wealth and fame or to attract people's attention and curiosity is used only as a beautiful wrapping paper for the artist. However, I hope that art can take responsibility for the day of the people who look at the picture, just like the small blue post-it letters I read. I really hope that art can contain emotions, beauty, and messages that no other camera in the world can capture. One day, while driving, I saw a white, unusually large, bright, and beautiful full moon. I wanted to save the beauty, so I took out my camera and took a picture. But the result was very disappointing. The bright energy that surprised me and wanted to show someone was not captured in the photo. A painting can show the world with energy that it cannot contain. The moon reflected in the river is so beautiful that on a bright moonlit night, as in a Chinese poem that says that he lifted his glass of wine and gave the refection from a full moon to himself, art is a small moon that you want to hand over in a glass.
Blue Beta fish If you go to the aquarium, you can see fish of various colors and shapes. The colorful neon colors and unusual shapes of the fish make me think of a true artist. The fish on the left below appears to have tattoos on its body. The fish on the right has a shiny silver color that goes well with the green plants. It's strange that her lips are yellow, but the lower part of her belly looks like she's wearing a pretty polka dot dress. How did they know that blue and yellow go well together? In this way, fish are good teachers who teach a lot to painters not only by their movements but also by their colors. I also like fish, so I raised and drew fish. Currently raising blue betas. Started growing before the pandemic. Before I brought Betta, my Betta was a fish with a curved tail and waist. he is shy and like to hide somewhere. The name of my beta fish is Sep. Because the day I brought Beta is September. After September 2019, we went through a pandemic together. It's been 2 years, so he tries not to move well and tries to stay still in one corner. Still, when I approach it, it beautifully blooms its fins and moves again. When it was shut down due to the pandemic and we stayed at home, the only pet in our house, Sep, comforted us a lot. I drew this concept with watercolor paints. Cultivating a small life, be it a fish or an animal, seems to provide infinite endorphins. They show boundless vitality and cuteness, and let humans know the stability of the mind and the preciousness of life.
A Rainbow fish Kids love rainbows. The rainbow, which is beautifully displayed in a semicircle with red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and purple colors, is probably a fantasy item not only for children but also for adults. A rainbow is a phenomenon that occurs because water drop particles act like a prism to scatter and refract the visible rays of the sun, but no one would only imagine this scientifically while looking at a rainbow. The rainbow makes many people spread their imaginations and think about the world beyond the rainbow. There are hidden treasures of gold and silver at the end of the rainbow, and angels come and go through the rainbow bridge. When my child was 3 years old, she had her toy camera filming a rainbow like this momentarily on the carpet. I like the double rainbow among rainbows. When I was in Germany, I witnessed it often, and I captured it on camera each time. And the rainbow in the sky is beautiful and mysterious, but I also like the rainbow created by the occasional hot summer sprinkler. This is because you can observe the bright colors of the rainbow up close. Coincidentally, I took a picture of a double rainbow created by a sprinkler. I wanted to draw a fish with this mysterious iridescent color. So, I took the time to paint with watercolor paints. This is the best way to ensure that my drawings are well drawn as intended. That's what I'm asking my five-year-old daughter directly. As soon as she saw the picture, she immediately responded. "Oh, it's a rainbow fish." It was a fun time as if I went back to my childhood for a while.
Dandelion The days are still chilly and it rains often, but spring seems to be fast approaching. If I go out to the yard, I can see dandelions in every corner of the lawn. Dandelions are perhaps the most annoying weed when it comes to lawn care in your yard. This is because it is deeply rooted in the ground and it is difficult to remove it completely. And when flower seeds in late spring are blown away by the wind, you have to wrestle with another dandelion seed without fail. However, this dandelion is said to be good for guinea pigs. So today, I pulled the dandelion up to the root, washed it, and gave it to our piggies. While I'm washing the dandelions, the piggies overturn their bowls to protest. When it comes to weeds, dandelion has many benefits that even other common plants cannot achieve. They carry nutrients straight from the roots to the flowers. They have most of the essential minerals, vitamins and even dietary fiber. Some nutrients found in dandelion include: Vitamin C – Cavies cannot naturally produce or store this vitamin on their own. That's why the body needs so much. Dandelion is one of the good sources of vitamins. Vitamin K – This is another vitamin found in dandelion. It helps with bone formation and growth. Dietary Fiber – Helps guinea pigs digest and prevents constipation. So, if your caviar is suffering from gastrointestinal problems, you can feed the dandelions and see the difference. When giving dandelion, which has many health benefits, you must be careful not to mix it with other weeds. My piggies look like this when they see this weed for the first time. My piggy only like carrots. It's the face of disappointment to learn that it wasn't carrots that I filled the bowl with. They sniff every nook and cranny of the dandelion and lightly taste the leaves, but do not actively eat them like carrots. In my opinion, neither humans nor animals tend to eat things that are good for the body. Anyway, when I was in Germany, my eldest son, who was 6 years old at the time, picked it from the yard, washed it, and boiled it as a tea. And the dandelion is sometimes compared to the tenacity of overcoming the hardships of Koreans. The dandelion can grow up to 17 inches tall. There are other insect pollinators of dandelion. Dandelion seeds can travel up to 5 miles to their terrestrial destination. At certain stages of their life cycle, dandelion plants look like the moon, stars and sun. The plant is used to produce root beer and wine. Dandelion is beneficial for farms by increasing the level of nitrogen in the soil. Dandelion's roots are long and firmly embedded in the ground. Anyone who has uprooted a dandelion at least once will marvel at its tenacious vitality. I felt the energy from that strong vitality and drew a picture. I am moved by the appearance of a small plant that is yellow and soft on the outside and is resistant to rain and wind and is difficult to pluck. Learn this dandelion-like mental power.
