1 Day, 1 Art : A funny catAt a recent Wet Paint Festival exhibition, I met Maureen Shea, an artist who exhibited in the next booth at last year's outdoor art show. She handed me a photo print of her work. She uses a technique of semi-abstractly expressing the shapes of objects with simple brush strokes. I really liked her paintings exhibited this time. Above all, the door leading into the garden on the left is impressive. After meeting her, I remembered the pictures she had sent me of her cat earlier. She suggested that I consider using this photo as her painting. I was finally able to draw this cat. Things have energy. The same goes for people. Each person has different energy. I loved the playful energy of this little cat. So, I tried to express this energy using complementary colors. The cat's shadow is a cool-toned blue, but the background is a warm orange. As an artist, I know how lucky I am to be able to depict the inherent energy of objects. People also get trapped in the dark sometimes. I often feel a cold energy whenever such people pass by. I too get caught up in this kind of energy. In times like these, drawings help us not to be trapped by cold energy. Every time I draw the energy of an object, I hope that the bright and warm energy within us will overflow. How great would it be if the world were a carefree scene like a fun, friendly, and warm painting? And I want to capture and cherish these warm moments forever.
1 Day, 1 Art : Exploring for catching sunset colorsIf possible, I want to find a way to draw comfortably and stress-free and draw everything in the world. That's why I decided to paint one small watercolor painting every day. One day it occurred to me that each day was like a work of art. Drawing little pictures to record my day brings me incredible reflection and joy.
When I draw as an artist, it's easy to get stuck in a certain mold. Especially when preparing for competitions or exhibitions, this framework becomes increasingly larger. Even if I try to draw an uncomplicated and simple childlike drawing, it is easy to develop another obsession: drawing a drawing for the evaluation of others. However, I think these restrictions are actually poisonous to artists. Because art has no limits. I think it's best not to tie up the wings of your creativity and let it fly freely and see the beautiful world. So I created a rule for my day. I draw one small picture every day without missing a single day. This is a separate commitment from preparing a large piece. And I set the condition that this work should be like a quick sketch within 30 minutes to 1 hour. Even if I want to retouch the picture to improve its completeness, I can't. This is to create the happiest pictures that are freer, less artificial, and unintentional. And after 20 days, many pictures were drawn. This promise seems easy, but the difficult thing is that I have to keep blogging all the time, even when I'm busy. However, after passing 1000 posts on the blog and creating another challenge, I expect to create another meaningful work. 1 Day 1 Art with seascapeActually, the concept is one small painting every day, but today I drew one more pearl watercolor painting as a sample for class. It is very helpful to encourage students learning to draw to draw many different pictures. Expressing various objects around you with watercolor paint will help you upgrade your painting skills.
To draw well, you must consistently practice how to express even simple things in an impressive way. In some ways, painting can be both an easy and difficult field. Personally, I am confident that even if artificial intelligence develops, the field of hand drawing will not be easily dominated. This requires a variety of techniques, creativity, and sensitivity. For this, we need to practice consistently. 1 Day 1 Art : Seascape with cloudIt's nice to be able to draw pictures for no reason more comfortably after you start drawing pictures with a certain intention and purpose, and then start drawing one small picture every day. You can freely practice and draw the places and atmospheres that you have memorized and want to realize in your drawings. You need to be resilient, hard-working, focussed, committed, prepared to learn and paint every day. Admit you are still learning and not be arrogant until you've made it. You need to be tenacious, practical, prepared to keep going and be taught methods, how to see, learn how to mix colour, colour theory. The best way to put a painting together, composition. Learn about materials, how to use them best How to obtain the most from brushes and so on. The above article is a valuable opinion discovered on an Internet site. I really like this article. I think this is probably the mindset you should have if you want to become a professional artist.
