"Seascape in winner's circle of GalleryNorth sold out!The sea greets us every day with a different face and expression. Not a single day, not an hour, not even a second is the same.
Sometimes calmly, sometimes roughly, sometimes brilliantly, the sea shows a different scenery every day, always in the same place in front of our eyes. I am an island painter. From the time I was born until now, I have always felt the sound of waves and the sea. Except for the short period I lived in Germany, the sea was always close to me. My parents lived near the sea and so did my ancestors. Perhaps that is why the sea is Mother Nature itself, encompassing all life and nature to me. The sea always reflects the sky. That is why the color of the sky and the color of the sea are always similar. When the sun rises, the orange, pink, and yellow light that spreads over the sea calmly colors the sea and illuminates it brightly. At noon, the sea reflects the sunlight rising high and shimmers brilliantly as if countless jewels were scattered. As the sun goes down, purple, yellow, and orange colors are gradually scattered as if dyeing the sky, and as the sun slowly sets, the sea quickly becomes dark. However, when the moon rises, the sea reflects the moon's light and shines countless times. The sea may resemble our lives. I love nature and I love this sea. So maybe, like fate, I live in Long Island like this. The seascape of Long Island are indescribably beautiful. You can always hear the waves no matter where you drive in Long Island. You can see seagulls as common as pigeons on the street, and when you go out the door, you can smell the salty smell felt in the conch of the sea. I love this place where I can feel the sea. At some point, I naturally started drawing the sea. And while drawing the sea, I began to be fascinated by the waves, sounds, colors, and feelings of nature. I decided to become a painter like the sea, which is always in the same place but stands in a different shape every day. In this sense, I am delighted that the seascape was sold at the GalleryNorth exhibition, winner's circle. I would also like to thank the unknown customer who bought this painting. I don't know who he is, but I think he must be a great lover with a personality as magnificent, beautiful, and powerful as the sea. I hope that my painting can quietly hear the sound of the sea in his room and bring laughter, happiness and good fortune to him and his family.
