Pumpkin Art ! The days are getting colder. Autumn is a reminder of how quickly the hot summer days change like this. Around this time of the year, I paint on artificial pumps. Below is a picture drawn on a pumpkin Artificial Pumpkins are made of plastic as shown below. They come in different sizes and shapes, and white pumpkins are recommended for painting. The paint absorbs better than paper, and acrylic paints tend to have better attachment. Water colors, acrylic paints, and felt pens are absorbed better than expected. Just draw a sketch like this and add highlights to it. This is the finished picture. Pumpkin art is very attractive because it is a three-dimensional canvas that can be rotated from various angles. I'm going to display this Pumpkin at the Gallery North Art Show tomorrow.
