Preparing for the summer art show!Recently I attended to the Night Heron Artist Group and drew a new picture. It's not finished yet, but I love the beautiful view of Port Jefferson through the window from where I'm sitting. And I tried to capture this landscape in watercolor. And we have to pick out pieces to prepare for the Summer Art Show, which starts on July 9th. I have selected the works above as entries for the art show. This painting is called "Seascape in a Dream" and is a watercolor painting that measures 18 by 24 inches. This picture doesn't point exactly where it is. Because it is the seascape of my imagination. The imaginary sea shimmers with beautiful colors of purple, blue, emerald and pink. "Seascape in a Dream" invites viewers to dive into the depths of their own imaginations, to surrender to the enchantment of a world unbound by reality. It is an invitation to embark on a voyage where the mind is the compass, and the spirit is set free to wander amidst the beauty of an untamed sea. As you gaze upon this captivating artwork, allow yourself to be swept away by the symphony of colors, where shades of purple, blue, emerald, and pink intertwine to create a dreamscape that knows no boundaries. Let your own imagination take flight, embracing the vastness of possibility and the boundless wonders of a world painted by the strokes of dreams. "Seascape in a Dream" beckons you to embrace the magic that lies within your own mind, where the imaginary sea whispers its secrets and invites you to explore the depths of your soul. May this painting be a portal to a realm of endless creativity, where the beauty of your dreams dances upon the canvas of your imagination.
