Inspired by Long Island Today is the last day of the Gallery Artist Open Call. I finished the application by selecting three pictures that fit the title among my pictures. This open call is about Long Island. If you had to pick one of the most iconic places in Long island, most would probably say Montauk. Every time I visit Montauk lighthouse, I also get a lot of inspiration and energy. It is overflowing with people who come to see the first sunrise on January 1st. This place is so iconic. The sunrise in Montauk symbolizes luck and hope. I drew a scene of an eagle flying against the background of Montauk Lighthouse, a place that comes to mind with the theme of Long Island. And the picture below is a sand street beach I painted with watercolors before. An old red duck hunting house can be seen in the distance on a quiet gravel beach. I love the mysterious, classic and lonely atmosphere of this place. And below is West Meadows Beach, a beach that is often visited in summer. This place is often visited by families and couples. When I come here, I witness the beautiful sea and love at sunset. These three types of paintings were painted in the form of acrylic, watercolor, and digital art, but they captured the sentimental and beautiful scenery of our neighborhood. Local artists often try to capture the beauty of the neighborhood they live in. I, too, will try to capture more of the beauty of our region.
