Congraturation! Cindy! She is an winner of the 2023 Kids Bookmark Contest through Emma Clark Library!

Announcing the winners of the 2023 Kids Bookmark Contest through Emma Clark Library:

Grades K – 2 category: Nayonika S. (2nd grade at Setauket Elementary)
Grades 3 & 4 category: Catherine Y. (3rd grade at Minnesauke Elementary)
Grades 5 & 6 category: Cindy Z. (5th grade at Minnesauke Elementary)

The contest called for all kids in the Three Village Central School District, Kindergarten through 6th grade, to create an original bookmark. There were 75 entries this year!

One of my students, Cindy Z., won the Bookmark Contest at Emma Clark Library.

 She painted beautiful illustrations of a child reading a book every day in all four seasons. She likes to read books and likes to go to the library. It is a work full of love for her books. 

 ​The Emma Clark Library holds a bookmark contest every year, awards a total of three talented children, and prints and distributes their works. Through these events, children are more interested in reading books, and help to inform the activities of the library and participate together.
