Boston Tour review

During the memorial day, I went to Boston for a while on a schedule of 3 days and two nights. Thankfully, my husband's friend provided a clean and excellent hotel for us.
From Long Island to Massachusetts, it took 30 minutes by ferry. From the start, there was a feeling of anxiety that it was raining a lot and the wind would not capture the beautiful view of Boston. Even though it was a short time, but as I watched the windy sea, I thought for a moment to think of the painting of the English painter William Turner. Joseph Mallord William Turner (from April 23, 1775, to December 19, 1851) was an English painter. He was born in London as the son of a barber. It is also the current British 20-pound bill model. As a master of 19th-century landscape painting, he is the most beloved national painter of the British.

In particular, he was a painter who left a groundbreaking expression in the depiction of light. Later, literary man Ruskin raised his reputation, and he continued to paint landscape paintings throughout his life. The sea, swaying by rainstorms and typhoons, was a familiar subject that inspires artistic inspiration to him enough to become the theme of all his works. With the philosophy of drawing more realistically than the real thing,  he looked at the scenery from a boat in a real storm. Therefore, the image should be more accurate than it is. Turner tied himself to the ship's sails with ropes and observed the scene for hours in the middle of a terrifying storm.

Thirty minutes later, we got off at the port and drove about three and a half hours on the highway to the Boston hotel. The hotel is a Hyatt Regency hotel near Boston University, and it was a great place to see the beautiful Charles River at a glance. However, the hotel was not served breakfast due to Covid restrictions. Some floors was also under renovation at the time. Everyone in the hotel wears a mask and is well kept on the street.

The city tour was challenging because it rained a lot, so I stopped by the college for my son and a science museum for my daughter. Although there is a restriction on Covid in the science museum, many people got vaccines, and it looked like it was before Covid.
The day before my return, the weather was clear to see Bunker hill and the USS constitution. The Battle of Bunker Hill is a battle between the Continental and British forces on June 17, 1775, in the early days of the American Revolutionary War. It was built in commemoration of the Battle of Bunker Hill, one of the significant battles in the American Revolutionary War.
The Freedom Trail is a 4-kilometer trail that connects 16 national historic sites in Boston National Historical Park and is a must-walk for your trip to Boston. From downtown Boston Common Park to the Bunker Hill Monument in Charlestown. There are two rows of red bricks on the floor, and we walked along this road.

The oldest surviving naval ship in the world, the United States Ship Constitution and museum, is located at the Charlestown Navy Yard in the Charlestown area. There are two naval ships on the dockside where the museum is located.
The three-mast wooden hull is the USS Constitution.' USS' stands for United States Ship,' which means U.S. naval ship, and constitution is an English word that means constitution. It was one of six naval ships built under the direction of President George Washington and the Naval Act of 1794 after the enactment of the U.S. Constitution. At that time, a ceremony was being prepared to shoot a cannon in commemoration of Memorial Day.
I went on a concise schedule with Memorial Day to take a closer look. But compared to last year, when I couldn't go anywhere outside my home, I'm only grateful. The Boston Museum of Art, which I mainly wanted to see, but the tickets was sold out and could not be seen. Nevertheless, I was also thankful to read people's interest and passion for art after the pandemic.

We couldn't see William Turner's slave ship at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, but our reality as we are going through a stormy pandemic is the real-life Turner talked.
