About 502 Bad Gateway message on FeedwindOn the main page of my official website, annakoh.com, I use an RSS gadget called FeedWind to update my blog posts and information in real time. This function can be easily done by using the embed function in Weebly. However, often I see a message like the one below and my feed freezes or becomes invisible for a while. As a user, I am embarrassed, but there is a reason as below. A 502 Bad Gateway message indicates that one server received an invalid response from another server. Essentially, you're connected to some kind of temporary device (e.g. an edge server) that needs to get all the bits needed to load the page. A problem has occurred with that process and the message indicates the problem. A 502 Bad Gateway error is an HTTP status code that indicates that a server acting as a gateway or proxy received an invalid response from an upstream server. In other words, the server that is serving as a gateway between your web browser and the website's server encountered an issue while trying to fulfill the request.
