Today, I would like to show you how to extract, transform, and use only the necessary objects from an illustration. First load that file.

 ​Then, use the pen tool to select and draw the necessary objects.

​Then set both Stroke and Fill to None as shown below.

​Then, I change the selected area to black for easy recognition with the pen tool.

 ​After that, use the selection tool to select the background below and the black part selected with the pen tool at the same time. For both selection, you must press the Shift key together.

​Then click Make Mask in Transparency Mode. If this mode is not visible, pop up the menu bar by clicking Window--> Transparency in the menu above.

It seems that the things you saw disappear, but don't be surprised. Then, when I press Invert mask, only the image of the area I selected with the pen tool is extracted.

​After separating the image as shown below, in my case, I copied several objects by moving them while pressing the option key.

Place the prepared paper above in a square shape, not a rhombus(diamond shape), and fold it inward to make a triangle.

​After completing the above steps, turn it over again and do the following. ​The principle is that if you slightly pull the left wing, it will unfold and create a shape.

​This is the finished star. It's good to express a pretty face too.

This paper plate stands for flowers. It is to put your portrait inside the flower. Overall, it means that you are a flower. This project was created with the hope that you will love yourself more beautiful than flowers and love nature.

 The most important thing in the cylinder is to express the 4 levels of light. In other words, the more natural and realistic the expression of the four stages of reflected light, mid-tone, darkest tone, bright tone, and mid-tone from the far inside with sunlight is achieved. Tone steps are easier and more concise than circles, and by drawing these steps, you can show a sense of expansion. Shadows form at the beginning of the dark stream and dissipate as they move away.

 To draw a cylinder, first draw three vertical lines. In my case, I started with a 2B pencil. And then draw the top of a cylinder to measure from the cross like like below. 

And then like above, you can express the gradient with 4 level's tons. From reflected to medium ton. (Reflected light--> medium-->dark-->bright-->medium)

And then erase the line, where it gets off the outlines. Next, you can draw the short horizontal line to express the expanded round shape for the dimension.
