Sophia's countries in the playground has been published on Amazon!

The Russian-Ukrainian war has been ongoing for over two years. Approximately 40% of the Ukrainian population requires humanitarian assistance, with about 3.7 million people displaced from Ukraine and roughly 6.5 million living as refugees in other countries. When we consider the tragedy of this war, we genuinely desire a world without war and filled with peace. Ten-year-old Sophia Chen created 59 countries as icons and shared a story about her earnest wish for peace and solutions from a child's perspective. It also illustrates that peace can be maintained through beautiful order, mutual respect, and love. Just as children resolve conflicts and difficulties that arise while playing on a playground, we hope that the war will end and peace will prevail. Just like Sophia's book, we will be able to create a wonderful world where everyone becomes one, forming a circle.

Artist Myungja Anna Koh is passionate about children spreading their wings of imagination, creating stories, drawing pictures, and self-publishing them. Her "Children's Author's Picture Book" series is composed of books that will continue to be published starting with the first author, 7-year-old Celina Kim's "Rainy Day".

Through Sophia's book, I was able to realize how much children want peace and want to live in a world without war. How great would it be if children could solve conflicts and problems peacefully and beautifully, just like playing on a playground?

​ I read this book with this kind of peace-loving heart. And the more children who love peace like Sophia, the more I hope that in the future, we will be able to solve conflicts and problems between countries more wisely and live in a peaceful world.
