Preparing for Submission: Mills Pond Gallery “Imagination 2025”I am excited to share that I plan to submit three of my watercolor paintings to the upcoming Mills Pond Gallery “Imagination 2025” exhibition. The theme of this exhibition centers on dreams, humor, fantasy, and creativity—art that sparks curiosity, awakens the senses, and invites viewers to experience the world through the lens of imagination. Each of my works reflects a different stage of my artistic journey, yet all are connected by the exploration of inner vision and the pursuit of freedom. Discover three of my watercolor paintings--The Mirror of Duality, Dream Voyage, and Wings Beyond Barriers—submitted to Mills Pond Gallery’s “Imagination 2025” exhibition. 1. The Mirror of Duality (30 × 24 inches, Watercolor, 2024) This piece explores the complexity of the human psyche and the dual nature of our existence. The mirror reflects both light and shadow—an angel and a serpent—symbolizing good and evil, hope and fear, clarity and confusion. It invites the viewer into a dialogue with their own inner self, prompting reflection on the unseen layers of human experience. 2. Dream Voyage (18 × 12 inches, Watercolor, 2023) Dream Voyage is a whimsical watercolor that evokes the feeling of embarking on a fantastical journey through dreams. Rabbits, fish, and children intertwine in a fluid narrative that blurs the boundary between reality and imagination. It is a piece that leaves space for personal interpretation, allowing viewers to weave their own stories into the dreamlike imagery. 3. Wings Beyond Barriers (20 × 16 inches, Watercolor, 2022) This work portrays two white birds entangled in barbed wire, striving to spread their wings in the face of limitation. It symbolizes resilience, freedom, and the unyielding human spirit that seeks to rise above boundaries. The image resonates as both a reminder of struggle and a vision of hope, encouraging us to imagine a world beyond confinement. Although created in different years, these three paintings are bound together by a shared theme: the power of imagination to transcend boundaries and explore inner truths. Through this exhibition, I hope my work will encourage viewers to step away from the ordinary, enter a space of reflection, and rediscover the joy of dreaming.
