Ready for another exhibition!

This summer is a meaningful time for me. I changed my painting style and it was successful. And this style will help me to paint more in the future. I started preparing for the exhibition today. I am always excited when a new painting is put in a frame.

​If I have a wish as an artist, it is very simple. I want to draw the most beautiful picture that I can fall in love with and hang it in my room. Every morning when I wake up, I will see the most splendid picture in the world. Before I go to sleep, my picture will comfort me from my tiring and exhausting day. My picture, which is like a beautiful dream that I don't want to wake up from, will always be by my side.

​How wonderful it would be if we could capture the warm sunlight on a thin piece of paper? How wonderful it would be if we could stuff the loving moments, joyful giggles, and happy smiles that we remember? I hope my paintings are like wise men who shine with spiritual light through enlightenment.

​What I have achieved through my efforts this summer is to express the clarity and depth of nature with simple and quick touches. It is to create an atmosphere that is warm and vivid, like a midsummer dream.

​And I am moving forward little by little toward this goal of mine. My efforts to achieve through painting help me forget the complex reality. Painting is like a temple where I go to forget the hustle and bustle of the world. There is only silence and peace here. It is my own world that I can enjoy and create without any evaluation, stress, or pretense. That is why I love painting.
