Is it more important to write a lot of blog posts or to write well? Both writing a lot of blog posts and writing well are important, but they need to be balanced. The importance can vary depending on each person’s goals and circumstances. 1. The importance of writing a lot of blog posts Consistent exposure: The more posts you post on your blog, the more exposed you will be to search engines. Writing about a variety of keywords and topics will help with **SEO (Search Engine Optimization)**, which will attract more visitors. Diversity of content: The more posts you write, the more diverse topics and perspectives you can cover, which will help build a wider reader base. If you write a lot about a specific topic or keyword, you will be more likely to be recognized as an expert in that field. Increased traffic: The more posts you write, the more visitors you will naturally see on your site. In particular, as older posts gradually rise in search results over time, you will be able to gain consistent traffic. 2. The importance of writing good blog posts Securing reader interest and trust: Good content provides value to readers and keeps them visiting your blog more often. Well-written posts earn readers’ trust and are more likely to leave comments or share them with others. Demonstrate expertise: In-depth content and well-structured articles can give you a professional image on a specific topic, which can help you establish yourself in a certain field. SEO optimization: Google prefers high-quality content. Well-written articles can rank higher in search engines and increase the dwell time that encourages readers to engage, which can be beneficial for SEO. It’s important to strike a balance! A good strategy is to write a lot of articles in the beginning to secure traffic, and then gradually improve the quality of your articles. In particular, you can write a lot in the beginning to secure data, and then gradually improve the quality of your articles to meet both quantity and quality. In the end, consistency and quality must be combined to achieve sustainable growth. For example, writing a high-quality post of about 500 characters every day can be more effective than writing a random post of 2,000 characters a day. Therefore, it is most important to write consistently while maintaining a balance between quantity and quality! In the beginning, it takes a lot of time to write. In my case, it took me 2 hours to write one post. So I had to wake up in the morning and spend the whole day blogging. However, as I continued to write, I realized that I shouldn't spend too much time on one post. No one knows which post is more useful and increases traffic. Even bloggers have to keep writing consistently to find out which posts are right for them and continue to sell one field. The problem is that it is important to make blogging itself natural, like eating when you are hungry. To do this, the act or routine of blogging should not feel burdensome. Therefore, even if you don't have time or money to write short posts, writing every day is more important than suddenly creating amazing content one day. In fact, consistent short posts often create unique ideas, and these often create high-quality content later. While blogging, I developed a habit of writing down important events or experiences. And this actually helped me get the best grades in graduate school. The habit of writing continuously and consistently allows you to organize your thoughts and explain them logically and with rich expression. I think this is the most important virtue for an artist. As an art educator, I encourage my students to not just draw pictures, but also write about their pictures. At first, students think this is easy. However, when they actually try to write, they find that their writing is not as cool as they thought, and that they use expressions that anyone can use. For example, when I ask them why they chose watercolor paints, they give a trite answer, “Because they are transparent and good for expressing my subject.” However, I know very well that there is a more magnificent, specific, and fantastic answer in the students’ heads and hearts. Therefore, it is very important to keep writing and trying to express yourself richly and explain in detail. And when this specific expression, or declaration, is made, their drawing skills will automatically improve. When students draw a picture given a subject, the reason their picture becomes simple is because their statement is weak. Students who can express their ideas and imaginations specifically draw more detailed and complex pictures.
