It’s Okay Here" — My Art Class Teaching PhilosophyWhen working with children, the most important thing I value is creating a space that feels safe and warm.
I want every child who joins my class to feel: "It’s okay here. It’s okay to express myself here." It's natural for children to feel shy, cautious, or even a bit guarded when stepping into a new environment. But as time passes and trust builds, I watch them open up — smiling more easily, supporting one another, and creating a genuinely warm atmosphere. In my class, the goal is not to push children toward perfection, but to nurture the belief that "It’s enough to simply be myself." When students encounter challenges, I look for new ways to support them -- sometimes by creating tools, sometimes by adjusting the approach -- until they experience that important moment of success. Through these experiences, they naturally grow in confidence and often extend their hands to help their friends as well. Ark Class is more than just a place to learn skills. It’s a space where children learn to express their hearts, embrace mistakes without fear, and experience the joy of lifting each other up. Every day, my greatest hope is that each child can feel, deep inside: "It’s okay here. It’s okay to be me."
