Daily Bread has been accepted for the Deck the Halls exhibition in the Gallery North.Just as the Impressionist painters devoted their lives to capturing the feeling of the angle of light reflected on objects, I do my best as an artist to capture the energy within objects. Since I have a high level of concentration based on the energy I feel, sometimes I secretly come to know things that others do not feel or predict. Although this training can be burdensome as an artist, I do not stop this exploration. This is because my efforts and exploration are left behind through my work. I believe that even if people do not understand now, there will come a day when everyone will understand, and I devote my days to it. Perhaps, if there is an artist with the same energy as me, they will understand what I am saying. And they will see the world with a different sense like me.
In this sense, I like to leave energy or temperature in my paintings. In particular, the work that will leave my finale this year will be 'Daily Bread'. I put a lot of temperature into this small painting. If this painting reminds you of your difficult and tough past and makes you cry, then the energy I want to convey has been sufficiently conveyed. And if you can go ahead and remember your hungry and hard times and celebrate your current self enough, then you will become the main character of this painting. I want the visitors to this painting to know this fact. And I hope they will meet the real owner of this painting.

2024 goal achieved. One of my plans for 2024 was to participate in the open call for all exhibitions at the local gallery, Mills Pond Gallery. And this goal was completely achieved with the last Small but Still Mighty this year. I am very happy to participate in the exhibitions as planned. And I would like to briefly record the results of this plan. I participated in a total of 6 exhibitions at Mills Pond Gallery. 5 of them were in the form of juried exhibitions and the rest were members' showcases. I received an award at the first members' showcase held in January. And this award gave me a great opportunity to participate in the winners' showcase next year. And in my memory, Surrounded Water and Flower Power were meaningful because they participated in the exhibition. And in the Imagination exhibition, I had the pleasure of having one of my paintings published in the local newspaper. And in relation to the land, one of my paintings was sold. Finally, the last four works that were accepted are all for small but still mighty exhibitions. I am personally delighted that I have achieved everything I set out to do at the beginning of the year. Of the six exhibitions, all but the last two have been special experiences for me. I have learned that the more artists can participate in community gallery events, the more they benefit.
Colored Pencil Drawing Lessons for StudentsIn order to improve students' drawing skills, more detailed and clear guidance is needed. So, when I think students need to upgrade their skills, I create a drawing like the one below to move on to the next level. In order for students to naturally move up to the next level without losing interest, I let them choose their favorite animal. Then I guide them to draw the picture with colored pencils. The left side is mine, and the right side is filled in by the students. And I explain the process in great detail. And after this work, I find that the students definitely level up. For the students, the lesson plan is made in a form that is as easy to follow as possible. And I am looking forward to the results to see if the students can perfectly follow the lesson plan above.
