You deserve it In relationships with people, there are times when I give up the heart I was holding on to because of love. In particular, in my case, I tried to preserve my relationship with people who lashed out at me with tearful eyes and hurt me with countless words. I was pitiful for them back then, and I truly loved them. So, at one time, when they hurt me and cursed me with no respect, I just let it be. At that time, they were more important than the wounded me.
But I learn from nature. There was absolutely no need for me to... Even the little birds empty their nests when the time comes. If something attacks them, they will run away. They just live in the passing time in the changing seasons. Because life itself is so important and precious. But I used to be a foolish kid who believed that It was worth more than that. The child grows and learns from nature. Just leave it alone like nature, like time passing, like a tree... If your heart hurts, you can avoid the person who hurt you. You don't have to listen to what you don't want to hear. You don't have to be kind to people who don't respect you. To live, keep distance and live like nature where you can feel the beauty of nature. You deserve it.

The Human Zoo * Note: The image below was made with reference to a Korean documentary about a human zoo. The collage was created as part of an Educational Theater Major assignment of Adelphi University.
Black is beautiful! I drew three black cats in about a day. I wanted to find the beauty of black above all else. Black is such a beautiful color on its own. Because black has the energy to make all the light around it transparent and bright like a jewel. And when all the lines and shapes are clean and you want a modern look, black can give you a nice effect. In particular, old Korean paintings are all painted in black. From time immemorial, Koreans have known how beautiful black is. If white is a color that reflects all light, black is the only color that absorbs all light. Therefore, black is the state without light, itself. Black has images of strength, determination, modern, intelligence, and luxury in a positive way, and negatively means death, evil, fear, anxiety, and despair. It also has a gloomy image because it is a color that mourns the death. On the other hand, in color psychology, it is used as a color that gives a sense of comfort, protection, and mystery. I think that when people use black socially, it emphasizes a dark and negative image. I think it happened because we don't know how important and beautiful color black is. If there is a moon in the night sky, imagine that the color of the sky is white or beige? Could you have seen the moon below? It absorbs all the colors around it and gives up on itself to shine, but because of this characteristic, I love the beauty of black that makes the surroundings bright and beautiful. And one of the creatures that can see these beautiful black characteristics well is the black cat. Black cats have beautiful eyes. Compared to other cats, these black cats seem to glow on their own. Tintoretto, an Italian painter of the Renaissance era, said, “The most beautiful color of all colors is black.” Black is good for expressing energy focused on something like this. Also, black is a color that can express the movement, energy and beauty of lines. So, if you look at old Korean or Oriental paintings, you will see a lot of black orchids and letters written on them.
