Practice, Practice and PracticeOn the way home from my child's dance rehearsal, I noticed beautiful clouds in the car. The clouds were no different from usual, but the color, texture, and sunlight shining above the clouds were so beautiful. I tried to capture this amazing moment in photos, but I found it difficult. Maybe it's because I've been researching clouds these days, but I've been thinking about drawing this kind of moving scenery. It's the same routine every day, like a repetitive dance rehearsal, but the scenery outside the window changes every time. It's just like a painting hung outdoors. Every day, it gives us a calming impression with a different feeling, different color, and different shape. I hope my paintings are like this too. I came across two cute baby rabbits on the lawn leading into the house. Perhaps because we have seen these rabbits since they were babies, they do not run away even when they see us. I've tried to capture the loveliness of these rabbits, but it's also difficult. Every time I see an object, I want to capture the energy within it, but I find it difficult. But we will overcome it little by little. Only if I take the lead will I be able to help students who follow me overcome their limits without difficulty. In that sense, I'm tired today too, but I'm going to practice and then go to sleep.

Dancing! An occupation that often appears in artists' paintings is a dancer. The beautiful movements, costumes, and stage lead the audience to an aesthetic world. Perhaps that's why painters want to capture dancers' movements and leave them in paintings. Above all, dance-related performances make you unable to take your eyes off the audience throughout the performance. It is a great opportunity for children to show us the beauty of dance, whether in rehearsal or recital, where they perform in practice. I have been watching dance performances through my child for a long time. And thanks to my child who loves dancing, I also draw various pictures. If I have a lot of time, I would like to draw beautiful dance moves.
A super teacher that can't be beat!Time passes really quickly. My child has already finished second grade. I think my child's homeroom teacher is someone who can be an model for all teachers. She is gentle and sweet, and she pays great attention to studies, incubating her students individually. I received several notes from the teacher containing each child's characteristics, stories, impressive aspects, and messages full of love, encouragement, and support. I think this comment will be the best gift for me and my child. I wanted to respond to her big heart. As an artist, I responded with drawings. I remembered that her team won field day this year, so I drew the picture below.
It is not easy to let children know that they are the main characters and the best in their lives without any competition. But her comments clearly show how important life lessons and education were to the children. They probably learned a lot about how to be the best in their lives over the course of the year. And it seems that her gesture was not about grades, but rather instilled confidence in the children that they could lead their own lives beautifully and to the best of their ability. As a teacher of drawing, I also believe that it is important to encourage students to find their own artistic style and draw comfortably and happily according to that style. When you draw a picture like this, each person will be able to become number one in their life happily without any frustration or comparison. The Wet Paint Festival, opening reception at Reboli CenterI went to the Wet Paint Festival opening reception at Revoli Center. Reception as an artist is like checking to see if my painting is in good condition. It also creates a great opportunity to chat with other artists. I haven't had time to face my painting since I delivered it. I couldn't hide my joy when I saw my painting for the first time in a long time. At the time, I was exhausted from expressing so many details, but the picture I see today doesn't show any effort at all. I'm just grateful for the painting that welcomes me without any reason. This exhibition was my first group exhibition at the Revoli Center. The small, clean and beautiful gallery is reminiscent of the living room of a beautiful nobleman in Europe. I liked it here. Above all, this festival was held every year, but I only found out about it now, and I regret attending it belatedly. But I will attend diligently in the future.
Birthday Card!On my friend Katarina's birthday, we gathered together for the first time in a long time and had a meal. Along with the gift, a congratulatory message was written using a watercolor card. She chose her picture that matched her. Perhaps by coincidence, she came wearing a red jacket that matched this picture very well. I know very well that pictures are a great medium when I need to congratulate my friends.
When many words or expressions feel cliché, pictures are good because they can convey emotions and feelings beyond words. Happy birthday once again and I hope Katarian have a happy day like her, who always creates bright and happy energy. |
