Art in my hopeI hope that my students and children become happy adults who enjoy their own lives. Above all, I hope that art can be a great strength in the difficult journey of life. I always feel sorry that doing art and learning how to draw is not something that is freely given. As an artist, I have to sell my work, and as an educator, I have to receive tutoring. However, I hope that one day, a world will come where these creative activities are given to everyone without compensation.
But I hope that it becomes a world that is universal enough for everyone to be okay, a world where everyone longs for it, a world where everyone can be healed through art, find meaning in life, and gain strength.

Cindy's amazing progress!I love seeing my students move away from the flat world and into a more three-dimensional and realistic world of expression. I also appreciate their progress when I see them draw in the form they want to draw. I am grateful to share the deep joy I feel when my students discover how well they can draw.
Sea story expressed in watercolorThe sea tells a different story every day. The sea is not boring. When I look at the seascape, I often feel the limitations of painting. However, as an artist, being able to express the beautiful sea is a complete blessing.
