A Storytelling club, Mom's playground!

​Storytelling plays a vital role in how we communicate, learn, and connect with others. Storytelling is essentially a powerful tool for conveying ideas, values, and emotions. Through storytelling, we can understand the world, share experiences, and build relationships.

Stories capture attention, evoke emotions, and make complex information more relevant and memorable. In education, marketing, or leadership, storytelling can simplify concepts and make them more impactful. In business, for example, storytelling can humanize brands, create emotional connections with customers, and differentiate a company from its competitors.

In addition, storytelling fosters empathy and understanding. By sharing diverse experiences and perspectives, stories bridge cultural and social divides, allowing us to see the world through the eyes of others. This promotes tolerance, compassion, and a shared humanity that is essential in a globalized world.

Storytelling is also a means of preserving culture and history. Through stories, traditions, beliefs, and values ​​are passed down from generation to generation, ensuring the continuity of cultural identity. Stories also serve as a repository of collective wisdom, providing insights and lessons that guide future generations.

My best friends Emiia and Freya deeply empathize with the importance of storytelling and we created a story club where we meet regularly to create stories and publish books.

​And we started this club early this year and have been meeting regularly every month. We will take a short break during the vacation and then start sharing stories we have created again in September. The first book that our club has published is Emilia's "Our Treehouse".

​This story describes the process of using different talents and skills to create a wonderful treehouse with mutual respect. I received the script from Emilia today and I felt very good after reading it. And I hope that this story will be published as a book and read by as many people as possible. I will never forget the strong energy that lifted my weak knees when I read this book. Maybe if you read this book, you will feel the same energy as me and it will make your day more energetic. And I think this is essentially the power of stories. In this sense, our book club 'Mom's Playground' will continue.
