Last weekend, we visited Parkview Riding Center in Long Island for a calm and beautiful encounter with horses. Surrounded by nature and open air, we had the opportunity to see and connect with several horses up close.

Meeting the HorsesThe first horse to greet us was a lovely brown one wearing a purple halter. It slowly walked toward us with curious eyes, showing no fear. My child stood at the fence, silently observing and exchanging a calm gaze with the horse. It was a moment of quiet connection that felt almost magical.

Variety of Beautiful HorsesWe saw many horses, each with its own unique charm—one with a creamy coat and brown patches, another deep brown horse with expressive eyes, and even a large horse with a golden mane and strong legs. Some munched on hay while others strolled gently in the pen. We didn’t touch them, but just being near these graceful animals was incredibly heartwarming.

A Special Experience for All AgesFor children, this kind of experience offers emotional growth and inspiration. Unlike books or videos, meeting animals in person allows for real emotional connection and wonder. As a parent, watching my child gently interact with a horse was a deeply moving experience.
